Legends Cars are 5/8 scale fiberglass bodied replicas of the original NASCAR Modified cars. They have XJR 1250 cc 125 horsepower Yamaha motorcycle engines in them. They weigh between 1100-1225 pounds (the extra weight allows you to add ballast). The car is not a kit, it comes fully assembled. There are many body styles to choose from. Legends Cars trailer well, as they don't need much for a trailer. Some of our racers use double wide snow machine trailers (built for two snow machines so it will have a high enough axle load rating). While others choose to use fully enclosed specialty race car trailers. It is entirely personal preference.

We at Alaska Legends Cars bring the cars up white. We do this because it is easier to paint them. Many of our racers like to paint their own cars with custom color schemes. Their paint jobs range from mild two tone, to wild patterned metal flake paint.
